"...while it is called To day..."

"But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day..." (Hebrews 3:13, KJV)

I was noticing how, in this verse, there is a space between the words 'To' & 'day', which intrigued me. Looking up this instance of 'day' in Strong's Concordance (#4594 Greek), I found that it generally means 'now'. In my own life, I have often intentionally placed myself in the 'now' to cope. Focus sharpens, anxieties melt. 'Now', for me, translates to operating in the mind of Christ, in His presence.

At least, this is how I perceive it.

This Scripture suggests to me that it will not always be 'now'. I don't know what that means exactly. but the thought is sobering. And so while it IS still 'now', it is time to lay down parts of my life, in order to more deeply know and serve Jesus. While it is still 'now', work needs to be done.

It cannot be emphasized enough how important Jesus is.

The mysteries of life are by God's design. (Ephesians 3:5, 9) To operate within them, to navigate through them, a person NEEDS Jesus. You need to know what He teaches, and what He has done to make this possible, to come out safely on the other side. You need to know - if only in moderate amount - about powers & principalities that do exist, and to whom the workings & wisdom of God are 'now' being made known (Ephesians 3:10). (To be clear, 'now' as used in this verse is translated from a different Greek word (#3568), but means 'now' or 'present'.)

This thrills me.

'Now' is a powerful & exciting time. We see so much chaos & evil in this world - we are seeing, I believe, the increasingly frantic, diabolical maneuvers of Lucifer to prove to God that he & his cohorts can restore & govern this world system (Sidebar: Yes, We Can! Sound familiar, anyone?). His efforts travel the world...indeed, the universe. Instead, the outcome will be that God will prevail. He is showing "by the church" His eternal purposes. It is an outworking that that is happening NOW.

For the Healing of the Nations.

Lucifer Keeps Busy...

I cannot emphasize enough, how central to understanding the realities of our kaleidoscopic world, is the ancient intention of Lucifer to control it.

I used to think that once God cast Lucifer out of heaven, he was essentially dismissed. Case closed. Yes, I knew that Lucifer/Satan was cast down to earth (Revelation 12:9), and still prowls about down here, as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).  But I always assumed these actions of roaring & devouring were simply the result of his hateful, malicious nature. He didn't get what he wanted.  Jesus got that!  So instead, Satan was/is 'acting out' a resentment so strong that it consumes. God was/is letting him get away with it, up to a certain point in time; there will come a Day, when Satan's time of causing trouble will be over. (Revelation 12:12) 

It never occurred to me that Lucifer/Satan was/is still trying to be like the Most High. (Isaiah 14:14)

Now...Satan isn't stupid. He must know that he's never going to win, right? He knows what took place at the Cross.  Or does he?   If he does, I would wager, he was/is counting on the rest of the world not knowing that. As long as he can fool people, as long as he can deceive & blind them (he probably half deceives himself!), he can get away with quite alot of counterfeiting. For many seasons, he has done that. He is doing it now.

But maybe he is unable to stop?  Scripture tells us that there is no truth in him (John 8:44) ....that has to be a form of hell right there. Does he try to convince himself that all that untruth IS truth? Going forward, does he seek to manipulate circumstances to 'confirm' those deceptions? Is this why we see endless, repetitive bouts of corruption in business & government, lusting for & abuse of power, crimes of passion, theft, murder? Working out his lies through the unwitting - and sometimes NOT so unwitting - devices of men, he has woven his ill-conceived motives throughout known history, wreaking & reaping horror, misery, and perdition.

Is he incapable of accepting the truth of his never becoming 'like the Most High'?

In her book "Honestly", author Sheila Walsh (once a co-host on The 700 Club) shares the story of her depression & resulting breakdown. She learned, while in a rehabilitation clinic, that shame produces a need to control your environment so that it validates a false concept of yourself, one in which you are NOT ashamed. You force your surroundings to lie to you. To bear 'false witness' to you about yourself. It is too unsettling, even horrifying to face & accept the truth.

The deeper your shame, the more desperately you seek control.

If no one or nothing in your spheres of activity contradicts your well-entrenched deceptive self-image, fine. But should there arise a challenge... look out!!! All bets are off.

This is not to say that any one of us has not, at some juncture in life, sought to work that very same cushioning 'mojo' around ourselves...let's face it, everyone wants to feel good about themselves. Denial, as they say, isn't just a river! Not endorsing this behavior, but being realistic about it. People do it. I do it, or have done it.

But the more a person looks for truth, or the Truth, the more those behaviors become apparent. Clinging desperately to lies will become so destructive that, if one wants health & life, he or she will be backed into a corner, and will launch a re-think about themselves and their activities.

Herein lies the difference: Satan/Lucifer has not done that. And, it seems, never will.

So he is doomed to perpetual control machinations, in both the visible and invisible realms. Which, I think, is why - as I stated above - "we see endless, repetitive bouts of corruption in business & government, lusting for & abuse of power, crimes of passion, theft, murder? " These bouts are worked out, into & through every arena of human endeavor. At times, we may have been complicit in them: "For ye were sometimes darkness..." (Ephesians 5:8)  Whether we were or not, however, this Satanic agenda continues today.

...and so the next logical thought might be, Okay, but how do I combat this? Starting where you are, this suggestion has been made: "Be yourself and think critically on your own." That may sound deceptively simple, weak & inept. But as you think it through, this strategy makes sense.

Once, "the Anointed Cherub"...but Now?

It seems that my attention is being more & more directed to that ancient Biblical event, spoken of by Jesus in the 10th. chapter of Luke: "I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."

Satan falling from heaven....

It seems to be generally accepted that before this falling, Satan was that glorious angelic being known as Lucifer. Big difference, though, between the 'before & after' persona...and motivations, of this being. Again, it seems to be generally believed that pre-fall Lucifer was wondrous, dazzling; those who inquire further, seeking details. learn that Lucifer was 'perfect' in his ways, the anointed cherub. and from within his very being emanated musical glory. He 'was upon the holy mountain of God'. He was in the garden of God! (Ezekiel 28: 13-15)


Lucifer had everything going for him...something went wrong, though. We are told, '...iniquity was found...' in him. (v.18) The verses following this first indication of reversal in Lucifer's condition, seem to describe pride & vanity...we know from Isaiah 14 that Lucifer rebelled against God, his Creator, deciding that he was going to become like God. I don't think Scripture actually says that this mutinous being intended to oust the Most High...from being the Most High...and ruling in His stead...but I get the feeling, that was the plan.

Whatever the depth or magnitude of Lucifer's deluded intent, God's ruling was "...thou hast sinned; therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God."

(Note: I am not aware of any Scripture that actually states that Lucifer's name was changed to Satan. However, my Bible reading & study over the years has led me to that assumption, as it has many believers of Scripture, I think.

Now...Bible scholars have postulated that there existed a possibly great time lapse in between the events of Genesis chapter 1, verses 1 & 2. That a catastrophic, cataclysmic event took place during that time, which rendered the earth '...without form, and void...' Darkness prevailed upon the deep, and the earth was in undistinguishable ruin.
Can you see the hurling down of Lucifer and his legions to the earth, as the cataclysmic event that caused such destruction?

...assuming that it was, we now have a mighty fallen angelic being roaming about this scene of violently darkened destruction, an angel who had possibly only seconds before walked in the glories of Paradise, an elite & highly privileged creation of God. I don't think any of us can actually imagine what he must have been feeling. But I would think that, on the heels of this initial shock, Lucifer's thoughts may have been something like, "Now what???"

"Where do I go now? What do I do next?"

...and those desperate, frantic questions probably led to this next one:

How can I get it all back?"

I am telling you now that, at its root, (whether known or unknown to its participants,) whatever plans, programs or agendas that have been or will be implemented under the heading of globalism, One World anything or New World Order, are the results of Lucifer's attempts to get it all back.

...now, Lucifer was created (Ezekiel 28:15). He came to consciousness in fullness of his power and beauty. Having known nothing less than an exalted state, once cast down, it would seem to me that he would grab at ANY possible means of regaining it. Let's take a brief but more detailed look at what this exalted state encompassed -

Based on the Scriptures pertaining to him found in Ezekiel 28, we can learn a few things:

1) It sounds like Lucifer's wisdom & beauty were unparalleled (v.12).

2) He was in Eden, the garden of God.(v.13)
(We know from other Scriptures in Genesis 3, that the serpent was found in that garden of Eden, not one whose name means 'day star'...so, this is perhaps somewhere or something else? Perhaps this 'garden of God' existed in the heavenlies, just as the heavenly Tabernacle, after which the earthly one was patterned.) Not only was Lucifer in this garden of God, but is described as having coverings of bedazzling jewels & precious stones (v.13) - which possibly represent attributes inexpressible, according to C.S Lewis in his Christian Behaviour.

3) Tabrets & pipes were prepared 'in him'. Music resided within Lucifer! and surrounded him! (v.13)

4) Lucifer was deliberately placed by God in a high - possibly the highest - position of government over all of the rest of the creation of God, "upon the holy mountain of God" (v.14). (This verse can possibly be construed to represent promotion to a place of authority in the affairs of God.)

5) Finally, it seems that Lucifer had also ministered in the office of priest, offering worship to God and having, therefore, access to a nearness to His throne. (v.14)

(Lucifer is called the "anointed cherub that covereth" (v.14) What does this imagery bring to mind? The cherubim with overspread wings, covering the Mercy Seat on the ark of the Covenant, right? How could there be doubt, then, as to a sacred & priestly aspect of Lucifer's existence?

We don't know what kind of conversations may have occurred between Satan & God, at this point. One possible aspect of the forward-going machinations of Satan, would have been an attempt to restore God's original earthly creation. Donald Barnhouse, in his The Invisible War, suggests this. To me, it does seem most likely...Barnhouse also states that Satan was/is still trying to show God that he can do it. If I can only prove to the Most High that I can get this whole mess all straightened out, renewed...if I can fix it!!!...then maybe I can get back MY former glory and still have a shot at running the show...might be how Satan thinks still today. Because Satan's goal is to bring order out of chaos (for his own selfish, vain reasons, of course,) Barnhouse continues, organization is a major tool. But we know how so many - if not eventually all - organizations collapse. Underlying malevolent agendas, love of money, lust for power...look at the 'great' civilizations (organizations) of the past. Gone. Corruption scandals touch even the most initially (apparently?) benevolent committees & corporations ...their CEO's etc. can't keep their hands clean, one way or another. (I recently heard something unsavory even about the Red Cross...although I never looked into the details...) My point is, as Barnhouse writes,"Satan cries, 'Let there be organizations!' And there is chaos. He calls out, 'Let there be United Nations!' And there are vetoes and wars....He commands, 'Let there be brotherhood!' And there are race riots..."

Satan can't make it happen.

What he does bring to the table is...more death & destruction.

Think about these things when looking at the world around you, the world across the oceans...the world both visible and INvisible. Don't count on the organizations of this world-system. Yes, some are still good, and may yet be so for awhile, but keep in mind, IF they are good, then God is probably on their side & in their midst. He dwells yet in some of us, and therefore His touch and impact is still felt in the world. In addition to His sovereign actions. The Scriptures tell us that He works all things after the counsel of His own will (Ephesians 1:11,) so...keep that in mind, when observing the downward spirals of what appears as loss or defeat, or catastrophe. Satan is far from the only player...even with his hordes of fallen angels (Revelation 12:4).

Think carefully through with whom you align.

There is more going on than you know.

America: the Founders' Vision.....or Something Else? (Part 2)

...so, I've been investigating Nimrod of the time of Genesis.

My researching has led me to befuddlement. One ancient pagan god, or king, or mother of a god, or goddess leads to yet another variation on a theme, and I find myself sitting here, head spinning & confused. The list seems endless! Nonetheless, there does seem to exist a certain continuity, in a disjointed way, to their stories. Even so, to keep up the reading of such topics at this point, isn't going to benefit me, nor contribute to finalizing this article! so I'm going with what I have gleaned so far...

I find it so interesting that not much mention is made of Nimrod, in the Scriptures. Yet it seems that his influence on history & civilization reaches forth even 'til now. I have read in more than one place that Freemasonry has its roots in Nimrod & his activities. From what I've found, if true, that is not a good thing. And the Masonic society (again, from what I've found, if true) appears to be responsible for the design of our Statue of Liberty - and their intent might not have been what yours or mine would have, in producing her. From times far past, a hand of ungodly intent has always been at work, to destroy the works of God in this world AND the United States of America, to rob men of their full potential within those Divine works, and create a whole other kind of...society.  Lucifer hasn't given up. A global agenda has been in the offing for a long, long time.

"The first century historian Josephus in his Antiquities of the Jews explains that the building of the Tower of Babel was an act of disobedience towards God...and explains that its chief proponent was a king by the name of Nimrod." (source)  So here is where we see the beginning of some forms of architecture as being an expression of opposition to the Lord ( dare I say, anti-Christ arising?) as well as the beginnings of attempted globalization. Beyond that, as societies & nations today move more and more towards a global 'unity' - though it appears to be a harmonious embrace - they are instead committing a dangerous spiritual fornication. It is serious. And America is part of it.

But back to Nimrod...

It looks like this man indulged in sexual relations with his mother. I am finding this piece of 'information' everywhere I go...she was, supposedly, known by the name of Semiramis/Ishtar/Isis...different countries gave her different names, over time. One was Diana of Ephesus. Point being, eventually she was worshipped as a goddess, and Nimrod was deified with her.

Now...this goddess (whom I will refer to as Ishtar), as the headdresses in the pictures below show, has been associated with towers/fortifications. I've read that this is because she had much to do with surrounding Babylon with brick walls, and influencing Nimrod to begin construction of the infamous Tower of Babel. Nimrod was eventually worshipped as 'the god of fortifications'. So we have here the Power Couple of Towers & Fortifications!

Nimrod, however, was associated with more than fortifications - he seems to have worked to set himself up as a form of savior, or Liberator. And what he was liberating the people from was the fear of YHWH, which is the beginning of knowledge. It is actually nothing to fear in itself! It is a good thing. Nimrod was not doing anyone any favors here...but apparently, with memories/accounts of the Flood still affecting people, Nimrod's machinations offered the people an illusion of safety & comfort, without needing to seek righteousness, God's way.  Or to seek God, period...

Meanwhile, his consort Ishtar also became known as the champion/goddess of personal freedoms - perhaps because of her relationship to Nimrod. The 'personal freedoms' label evolved into sexual freedom, i.e., licentiousness. Slaves seeking freedom turned to the goddess Ishtar; if they gained it, some prostituted themselves to secure an income, and/or became temple prostitutes, both sanctioned by this goddess. ( Ishtar's protective covering was extended to include immigrants and exiles as well, as they also would be seeking freedom...Here we can see a prototype upon which, it seems, the Masonic developers & sculptor of the Statue of Liberty designed her.)

...so you can see where this duo is headed...down an ever darkening path, away from the Light of the world...producing the Tower of Babel (Confusion)...and the seeds of an early blueprint for secret societies such as Freemasonry, and their ultimate globalist agenda.

It does not comfort me to know that the indispensable Father of our country, George Washington, was a Mason.  As well as just about any other Founder of renown.  In my heart, I cry, "Where do we go from here?  What now?"   In my eyes, Washington is second only to the Lord Jesus Christ.  I am serious.  How can this not be true?

 

It does comfort me to have learned that although Washington had joined the Masons, and engaged in much written correspondence, it appears that he did not actually attend meetings, on the whole. "The fact is I preside over none, nor have I been in one more than once or twice within the last thirty years...."⁽ (Masonic Correspondence of Washington)  When questioned as to the suspected nefarious nature of this secret society, he replied, " "... [referring to] the doctrines of the Illuminati, and principles of Jacobism ... in the United States....I did not believe that the Lodges of Freemasons in this Country had, as Societies, endeavored to propagate the diabolical tenets of the first, or the pernicious principles of the latter..."

 

My sincere hope is that at that time in the history of the United States, George Washington was not deceived but that Freemasonry and other such societies were not entrenched in subversive, freedom-threatening  agendas.  Or, if they were, Washington genuinely believed they were not.

 

An editorial conclusion on a related site: " It is this editor's belief that the Illuminati did finally penetrate the Freemasons in America but not until the latter half of the 19th century. So any talk of George Washington and the Founding Fathers being a part of a conspiracy or a One World Order is superfluous"

1776, Adam Weishaupt, a famous Mason, had developed the Illuminati, a secret society within a secret society. One Masonic historian himself has stated that the goals include "found[ing] a new Hierarchy, to overturn all authority, and to press down all the Social Order under the level of Equality." (italics mine) (Does this sound like Barack Obama's agenda? also, my thought.) Another Masonic historian stated "the express aim of the Order was to abolish Christianity, and overturn all civil government." In Weishaupt's own words, the Illuminati "will by degrees, and in silence, possess themselves of the government of the States, and make use of those means for this purpose...."

The above quotes are taken from an involved piece about United States Presidents & their associates who are, were, or were in some way connected to, Masons. This organization is pervasive & powerful, and appears to be behind much of all that goes on in this world.  "Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of England... stated to the London Press in 1922:  From the days of Sparticus Weishaupt, Karl Marx, Trotsky, Belacoon, Rosa Luxenburg, and Ema Goldman, this world conspiracy has been steadily growing. This conspiracy played a recognizable role in the tragedy of the French Revolution.  It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the 19th century..."   At its lower levels, it presents itself as noble & altruistic - its members at these levels might actually believe that. The higher one ascends into Freemasonry, the closer one gets to Luciferian activity, even worship. Or so I've read.  It's tentacles have snaked their way throughout history past and into our present world, invading government & religion at the highest levels.

These things being true, its dissolution seems unlikely, ever, by means of good & righteous men opposing it. My thought here is that the destruction of Freemasonry will only come about by an act of our sovereign Lord. It will only come about through, perhaps, Armageddon. But it will definitely be vanquished for all eternity when it shall be true that "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ..." (Revelations 11:15)

It always comes back to Jesus Christ.

America: the Founders' Vision...or Something Else?

I have come to believe that, from before its very inception, demonic elements were present and at work to pollute & derail the most pure version of the Founding Fathers' vision for America. They were certainly at work in the opposition forces, during the Revolutionary War. But we wouldn't quit. Against all odds, we wouldn't quit - so these elements took up residence, somehow, in the very framework of our new nation. They have been operating surreptitiously, and not so surreptitiously, ever since.

They operate primarily within our own government. And I would suggest that any other entities involved have become so at our government's invitation. (You should know that possibly the most trusted & respected man in American history - or perhaps all history - issued a solemn warning against government, even as he was part of it: George Washington, Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army and first President of the United States of America.

These malevolent powers did not suddenly show up on the scene, back in the late 1700's. They have been in existence all along. They resided in the serpent, as he slithered around Eden, deceiving Eve and, through that act robbing humanity of glories unimaginable. Before that, they overpowered Lucifer, God's most beautiful creation, baiting him to declare a coup', rebel against the Most High and bring chaos & destruction unimaginable. These forces will not go away until all things are finally summed up in Christ. So, it should really come as no surprise that they have continued their insidious agenda in & throughout the creation of the United States of America.

The Scriptures tell us to acknowledge the Lord in all our ways. If we are willing to do that, it is promised that He will make our paths straight. I have come to believe that, at root, all conflict & trouble in this world stems from a refusal to acknowledge the Lord. In some way and for whatever reasons, individual beings (human or spirit) - both separately or collectively as groups or nations - resist that Lordship. Ultimately, such resistance sows & reaps destruction.

...so I would submit that there has worked its way throughout humanity that same motivation that drove Lucifer to declare: "...I will be like the most High." (Isaiah 14:14). It has expressed itself through many & varied means, branching out into every aspect of civilization & seeking to lay claim to a position not rightfully its own. It is the motivation that will climax in Armageddon.
What has come to my attention recently is the presence of such intent, expressed within architecture & statuary. I used to think that bizarre-looking figures of stone were just that & nothing more. Now...not so much. I don't say that actual power resides in them, but...idols of stone do convey a message. We might learn surprising truths from tracing back their history & meaning. In fact, the amount of similarities between Old Testament accounts of events, and information recorded on archaeological finds & in ancient writings can't help but be noticed. And intrigue a person...make a person wonder, think twice about what was once dismissed.

...so, after a decent amount of investigating & research, it has not come as quite so much of a shock to me, that the glorious symbol of the hope & promise of America, our Statue of Liberty, may very likely be steeped in the occult.

Which kicks me back to my opening statements: "...demonic elements were present and at work to pollute & derail the most pure version of the Founding Fathers' vision for America."

Adam has been driven from the Garden, taking his wife Eve with him. Life is different now, outside of Eden, Adam tilling the ground in the sweat of his brow & Eve having sorrow multiplied. Still, though, life went on and this first couple produced a first son, Cain. And his brother, Abel. As happens with siblings, it appears there was some deep resentment in one towards the other. When God favored Abel's animal sacrifice offering, but not Cain's offering of grain, Cain's wrath took hold of him. After that, one hot day out in the field, Cain slew Abel.

Adam & Eve's only surviving son was then banished by the Lord as a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth. Part of his punishment was that, though he might try to work the ground, it would not yield 'her strength' (Genesis 4:12) Cain's means of surviving was seriously curtailed. Fruitful agricultural pursuits were no longer allowed to him. The Scripture doesn't reveal to us any details of the kind of work Cain in which engaged himself. However, I find it interesting that, after this either Cain (or his son Enoch) built the world's first city. And I find it a bit disconcerting that cities & civilizations have their roots in a murderer who did not follow in God's way.

A few 'begats' down the timeline, and Tubal-cain was born. Tubal-cain introduced 'every artifice in brass and iron' to the mix. (Genesis 4:22)  According to this Genesis account, Tubal-Cain's half-brother Jubal was "the father of all those who play the lyre and pipe." (These two 'arts' came to play no small part in the coming days of idolatry.)

As before, life went on. Men multiplied upon the earth. We are told that 'sons of God' came down to mate with the daughters of men, and the next verse here in Genesis is where we read that man's wickedness had devoured his imaginations continually. The Lord repented of ever having created man, and swore to destroy all flesh.

The Flood came, and did just that.

After the rains ceased, the waters receded & the ground dried, Noah & his clan left the ark. Along with all the paired-up animals, life resumed again. More 'begats' down the timeline, and Noah's grandson Cush gives us Nimrod. Prior to Nimrod's birth, Noah's progeny are listed by name only, and the other sons of Cush are all grouped together in the same verse - but not Nimrod. He gets special recognition. Listed separately, he is called a 'mighty one' and a 'mighty hunter before the Lord'( Genesis 10:7-10). He wasn't just a regular guy...

...and it makes me wonder, why is that?

How, and at what point, was there introduced into Nimrod those forces that made him so different? Where did they come from? Nimrod was of Noah's lineage, and Noah was a righteous man before the Lord. But Nimrod - not so much...Hebrew word studies show that, in Nimrod's case, 'before the Lord' appears to mean 'against the Lord", and 'hunter' might not mean a hunter of animals - but rather, a hunter of men.  (There are other explanations given as to why Nimrod's actions as a hunter are highlighted in the Scriptures, because of his skill in hunting wild beasts & other animals, not men.  One such reason being that, by Nimrod's time, the wild beasts of the forest were multiplying more rapidly than the human race, and he became a great force in subduing this trend.) In addition, we are told that Nimrod 'began to be a mighty one', which has implications all its own. Associated with this Hebrew word 'began' are the concepts of wounding, or an 'opening wedge', or profaning. And 'mighty' one includes the definition 'tyrant'. What Nimrod began to be in the earth doesn't sound all that desirable or harmonious to me.

...and next thing ya know, he's ruling a kingdom, the firstfruits of which was - guess what? Babel, or BABYLON (Genesis 10:10). Which means confusion...

The best answer I can find, as to Nimrod's...destiny?...lies in Genesis 9:22. Noah's son Ham 'saw the nakedness of his father'. Uncovering the nakedness of any relative was the first offence listed in Leviticus 18, regarding moral issues. There were consequences to such an act. One was being cut off from one's people (v.29). Nimrod was Ham's grandson, and I'm wondering if the outcome of Nimrod's life was somehow a trickling down of this curse. It is the only bit of evidence I have found, to explain what seems to be an inexplicable shift in spiritual flow.

I have taken the time to write about these Biblical & historical events because they seem to build up to outcomes that exist in our world today.

....so life is carrying on as usual in Nimrod's kingdom hub of Babel, hustle & bustle, to & fro...eating & drinking, selling and trading of goods, preparing food & washing clothes....but something else is going on, in minds & hearts. The people decided to build a tower that would reach to heaven. What?? Why would anyone do that? Well, self-preservation, it would seem, based on Genesis 11:4...and I would also suggest, that old Luciferian "I will be like the most High" delusion, the "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds" ambition (Isaiah 14:14).

(Keep in mind that the means by which some here have tried to oppose God is architecture.)

We know God thwarted this ambition of these people big-time. Not His plan for us to make our own way up to Him. Not then, not now. He had & He has His own Way of connecting with us, it Is Jesus Christ, and He came down to us.....

There is only one Way, and all the towers, all the magnificent buildings & cathedrals, all the rituals & formulas of this world don't mean squat. They cannot do anything for us, not really, not finally. They will not endure. But the Son of  God, the Lord Jesus Christ, reigns forever. His throne endures forever, and so does His Word. Only His blood covers our sins and brings us redemption eternal. It is the only price powerful enough to make things right, and it has already been paid at the Cross.

You need to be covered with that Blood.

As regards Leaders..."the LORD looketh on the heart."

Many are basing their opposition to Donald Trump on externals. His brash, bombastic behavior & rhetoric is an affront to them. Well, one would have to be living with their head continually in the sand to NOT be aware of Trump's 'rough edges', right? But the point I want to focus on today is this:

"...for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart." (1 Samuel 16: 7)

I believe that God was highlighting Donald Trump to me back in 2012, when Trump flirted with running for the Republican presidential nomination. I was therefore thrilled when he re-entered the race this time around - and I admit I'm prejudiced in his favor, right out of the gate. But increasingly, as events progress in the debates & primaries & caucuses, I continue to see Godly, powerful growth & support of Trump's endeavors. If I am right, and God is giving this growth...it is cause for humility and respect on our parts. Many believe that, in the Spirit, they are looking at a clarion call of God and His move on America. For America.

I read certain types of comments, made by brothers & sisters in Christ, online. Their vision is hindered & short-sighted, I think. Understandable but hindered. They are judging accord to outward presentations, and I do not think that they actually SEE beyond the flesh.

There are countless discussions about whether Mr. Trump is or is not a Christian. To that I say, King Cyrus was not a 'Christian' either, but he accomplished God's will for that time & was in fact chosen to do so. (Isaiah 44, 45)  Whether Trump meets your specifications or not as to his evangelical persuasions, those persuasions will have no impact on his possibly being the man for such a time as this. It is God who raises up & brings low. God is the Potter. He does whatsoever He pleases, and He doeth all things well. And if Donald Trump has been called by God to be elected President of the United States of America, then you can be sure that all that has led him to this point in his life has been intended. His background, his experiences & his wealth, his business acumen and the personality that made those things possible were part of the Plan. He has been equipped. And going forward, if he is elected, there will be those in place to provide whatever else may be needed to navigate the office & responsibilities of President.

I want to point out that the above Scripture was spoken to Samuel, when he was seeking a man to replace Saul as king of Israel. Seven 'nominees' were presented to the Lord, but on the grounds of looking upon the heart - not externals - each one was rejected. Lastly, young David stood before God. He was the one pronounced to become king. Though David went on to commit adultery & plot murder, yet Scripture tells us that he was a man after God's own heart, at his core. He paid for his sins, you can be sure, but he was not 'morally' perfect based on man's standards. No one is. You may not be able to wrap your head around that, and continue to clamor for a more' perfect type' of man for America's next President- and if this is the case, your vision may be clouded. The scales need to fall from your eyes. May all such eyes be opened, today and throughout the coming election cycle, within & without the Body of Christ. May Jesus approach many, even now, unto eternal life, and become your Saviour and Friend.

May His victory be great!
