Lucifer Keeps Busy...

I cannot emphasize enough, how central to understanding the realities of our kaleidoscopic world, is the ancient intention of Lucifer to control it.

I used to think that once God cast Lucifer out of heaven, he was essentially dismissed. Case closed. Yes, I knew that Lucifer/Satan was cast down to earth (Revelation 12:9), and still prowls about down here, as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).  But I always assumed these actions of roaring & devouring were simply the result of his hateful, malicious nature. He didn't get what he wanted.  Jesus got that!  So instead, Satan was/is 'acting out' a resentment so strong that it consumes. God was/is letting him get away with it, up to a certain point in time; there will come a Day, when Satan's time of causing trouble will be over. (Revelation 12:12) 

It never occurred to me that Lucifer/Satan was/is still trying to be like the Most High. (Isaiah 14:14)

Now...Satan isn't stupid. He must know that he's never going to win, right? He knows what took place at the Cross.  Or does he?   If he does, I would wager, he was/is counting on the rest of the world not knowing that. As long as he can fool people, as long as he can deceive & blind them (he probably half deceives himself!), he can get away with quite alot of counterfeiting. For many seasons, he has done that. He is doing it now.

But maybe he is unable to stop?  Scripture tells us that there is no truth in him (John 8:44) ....that has to be a form of hell right there. Does he try to convince himself that all that untruth IS truth? Going forward, does he seek to manipulate circumstances to 'confirm' those deceptions? Is this why we see endless, repetitive bouts of corruption in business & government, lusting for & abuse of power, crimes of passion, theft, murder? Working out his lies through the unwitting - and sometimes NOT so unwitting - devices of men, he has woven his ill-conceived motives throughout known history, wreaking & reaping horror, misery, and perdition.

Is he incapable of accepting the truth of his never becoming 'like the Most High'?

In her book "Honestly", author Sheila Walsh (once a co-host on The 700 Club) shares the story of her depression & resulting breakdown. She learned, while in a rehabilitation clinic, that shame produces a need to control your environment so that it validates a false concept of yourself, one in which you are NOT ashamed. You force your surroundings to lie to you. To bear 'false witness' to you about yourself. It is too unsettling, even horrifying to face & accept the truth.

The deeper your shame, the more desperately you seek control.

If no one or nothing in your spheres of activity contradicts your well-entrenched deceptive self-image, fine. But should there arise a challenge... look out!!! All bets are off.

This is not to say that any one of us has not, at some juncture in life, sought to work that very same cushioning 'mojo' around ourselves...let's face it, everyone wants to feel good about themselves. Denial, as they say, isn't just a river! Not endorsing this behavior, but being realistic about it. People do it. I do it, or have done it.

But the more a person looks for truth, or the Truth, the more those behaviors become apparent. Clinging desperately to lies will become so destructive that, if one wants health & life, he or she will be backed into a corner, and will launch a re-think about themselves and their activities.

Herein lies the difference: Satan/Lucifer has not done that. And, it seems, never will.

So he is doomed to perpetual control machinations, in both the visible and invisible realms. Which, I think, is why - as I stated above - "we see endless, repetitive bouts of corruption in business & government, lusting for & abuse of power, crimes of passion, theft, murder? " These bouts are worked out, into & through every arena of human endeavor. At times, we may have been complicit in them: "For ye were sometimes darkness..." (Ephesians 5:8)  Whether we were or not, however, this Satanic agenda continues today.

...and so the next logical thought might be, Okay, but how do I combat this? Starting where you are, this suggestion has been made: "Be yourself and think critically on your own." That may sound deceptively simple, weak & inept. But as you think it through, this strategy makes sense.

Because if you don't, you need to wise up & start getting back to your roots, who you really are, what you really believe...you need to look inside yourself...and maybe you need to look Up. You need to meet Jesus, if you don't already know Him, and you need to learn a little bit about America's founding documents & her Founding Fathers, her early history and specifically, our Constitution. ...so, I've been investigating Nimrod of the time of Genesis.

My researching has led me to befuddlement. One ancient pagan god, or king, or mother of a god, or goddess leads to yet another variation on a theme, and I find myself sitting here, head spinning & confused. The list seems endless! Nonetheless, there does seem to exist a certain continuity, in a disjointed way, to their stories. Even so, to keep up the reading of such topics at this point, isn't going to benefit me, nor contribute to finalizing this article! so I'm going with what I have gleaned so far...

I find it so interesting that not much mention is made of Nimrod, in the Scriptures. Yet it seems that his influence on history & civilization reaches forth even 'til now. I have read in more than one place that Freemasonry has its roots in Nimrod & his activities. From what I've found, if true, that is not a good thing. And the Masonic society (again, from what I've found, if true) appears to be responsible for the design of our Statue of Liberty - and their intent might not have been what yours or mine would have, in producing her. From times far past, a hand of ungodly intent has always been at work, to destroy the works of God in this world AND the United States of America, to rob men of their full potential within those Divine works, and create a whole other kind of...society.  Lucifer hasn't given up. A global agenda has been in the offing for a long, long time.

"The first century historian Josephus in his Antiquities of the Jews explains that the building of the Tower of Babel was an act of disobedience towards God...and explains that its chief proponent was a king by the name of Nimrod." (source)  So here is where we see the beginning of some forms of architecture as being an expression of opposition to the Lord ( dare I say, anti-Christ arising?) as well as the beginnings of attempted globalization. Beyond that, as societies & nations today move more and more towards a global 'unity' - though it appears to be a harmonious embrace - they are instead committing a dangerous spiritual fornication. It is serious. And America is part of it.

But back to Nimrod...

It looks like this man indulged in sexual relations with his mother. I am finding this piece of 'information' everywhere I go...she was, supposedly, known by the name of Semiramis/Ishtar/Isis...different countries gave her different names, over time. One was Diana of Ephesus. Point being, eventually she was worshipped as a goddess, and Nimrod was deified with her.

Now...this goddess (whom I will refer to as Ishtar), as the headdresses in the pictures below show, has been associated with towers/fortifications. I've read that this is because she had much to do with surrounding Babylon with brick walls, and influencing Nimrod to begin construction of the infamous Tower of Babel. Nimrod was eventually worshipped as 'the god of fortifications'. So we have here the Power Couple of Towers & Fortifications!

Nimrod, however, was associated with more than fortifications - he seems to have worked to set himself up as a form of savior, or Liberator. And what he was liberating the people from was the fear of YHWH, which is the beginning of knowledge. It is actually nothing to fear in itself! It is a good thing. Nimrod was not doing anyone any favors here...but apparently, with memories/accounts of the Flood still affecting people, Nimrod's machinations offered the people an illusion of safety & comfort, without needing to seek righteousness, God's way.  Or to seek God, period...

Meanwhile, his consort Ishtar also became known as the champion/goddess of personal freedoms - perhaps because of her relationship to Nimrod. The 'personal freedoms' label evolved into sexual freedom, i.e., licentiousness. Slaves seeking freedom turned to the goddess Ishtar; if they gained it, some prostituted themselves to secure an income, and/or became temple prostitutes, both sanctioned by this goddess. ( Ishtar's protective covering was extended to include immigrants and exiles as well, as they also would be seeking freedom...Here we can see a prototype upon which, it seems, the Masonic developers & sculptor of the Statue of Liberty designed her.)

...so you can see where this duo is headed...down an ever darkening path, away from the Light of the world...producing the Tower of Babel (Confusion)...and the seeds of an early blueprint for secret societies such as Freemasonry, and their ultimate globalist agenda.

It does not comfort me to know that the indispensable Father of our country, George Washington, was a Mason.  As well as just about any other Founder of renown.  In my heart, I cry, "Where do we go from here?  What now?"   In my eyes, Washington is second only to the Lord Jesus Christ.  I am serious.  How can this not be true?

 

It does comfort me to have learned that although Washington had joined the Masons, and engaged in much written correspondence, it appears that he did not actually attend meetings, on the whole. "The fact is I preside over none, nor have I been in one more than once or twice within the last thirty years...."⁽ (Masonic Correspondence of Washington)  When questioned as to the suspected nefarious nature of this secret society, he replied, " "... [referring to] the doctrines of the Illuminati, and principles of Jacobism ... in the United States....I did not believe that the Lodges of Freemasons in this Country had, as Societies, endeavored to propagate the diabolical tenets of the first, or the pernicious principles of the latter..."

 

My sincere hope is that at that time in the history of the United States, George Washington was not deceived but that Freemasonry and other such societies were not entrenched in subversive, freedom-threatening  agendas.  Or, if they were, Washington genuinely believed they were not.

 

An editorial conclusion on a related site: " It is this editor's belief that the Illuminati did finally penetrate the Freemasons in America but not until the latter half of the 19th century. So any talk of George Washington and the Founding Fathers being a part of a conspiracy or a One World Order is superfluous"

1776, Adam Weishaupt, a famous Mason, had developed the Illuminati, a secret society within a secret society. One Masonic historian himself has stated that the goals include "found[ing] a new Hierarchy, to overturn all authority, and to press down all the Social Order under the level of Equality." (italics mine) (Does this sound like Barack Obama's agenda? also, my thought.) Another Masonic historian stated "the express aim of the Order was to abolish Christianity, and overturn all civil government." In Weishaupt's own words, the Illuminati "will by degrees, and in silence, possess themselves of the government of the States, and make use of those means for this purpose...."

The above quotes are taken from an involved piece about United States Presidents & their associates who are, were, or were in some way connected to, Masons. This organization is pervasive & powerful, and appears to be behind much of all that goes on in this world.  "Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of England... stated to the London Press in 1922:  From the days of Sparticus Weishaupt, Karl Marx, Trotsky, Belacoon, Rosa Luxenburg, and Ema Goldman, this world conspiracy has been steadily growing. This conspiracy played a recognizable role in the tragedy of the French Revolution.  It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the 19th century..."   At its lower levels, it presents itself as noble & altruistic - its members at these levels might actually believe that. The higher one ascends into Freemasonry, the closer one gets to Luciferian activity, even worship. Or so I've read.  It's tentacles have snaked their way throughout history past and into our present world, invading government & religion at the highest levels.

These things being true, its dissolution seems unlikely, ever, by means of good & righteous men opposing it. My thought here is that the destruction of Freemasonry will only come about by an act of our sovereign Lord. It will only come about through, perhaps, Armageddon. But it will definitely be vanquished for all eternity when it shall be true that "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ..." (Revelations 11:15)

It always comes back to Jesus Christ.
